Just checked and Hagerty has condition 1 listed at $36,100. This looks like a #1-1.5 car, and that Hagerty valuation seems a touch low to me from watching Sprints recently ($40k seems appropriate), but this guy is a full 25% above that.

Maybe this is where they're headed? I hope not, as a a driver-quality S4 is still in the $20k range, and it'd be nice if they stayed there.

Hell I could get into a Turbo Esprit for 10 if I wanted to beat on myself. S4 Esprit's are sweet. I never drove one, only a turbo (which is why I know I couldnt drive one. My feet in shoes barely made it to the pedals, drove it barefoot. No room down there!). Be real nice if they stuck around at that range though. Such a gorgeous redesign, and the V8 made it alot more useable.

You meant the Elan S4 though, d'oh. I wish I had more experience in these old brits

I've been eyefucking the shit out of S4 Esprits recently. If I had a garage to leave one up on jackstands for extended periods of time or the capability/desire to fund a Lotus specialists' kid's college education, I'd have one.
